Biography

Professor Maja Korica is a Full Professor of Strategic Management at IESEG School of Management in Paris. She holds an MSc and a DPhil in Management Studies from the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford. Prior to joining IESEG, she spent over a decade as a senior faculty member at Warwick Business School, University of Warwick.

Her research focuses on business elites, including boards of directors and CEOs, and on organizational dynamics in contexts involving complex challenges or wider societal impact. She is the author of Elites, Business and Society, forthcoming from Routledge in 2026. In 2017, she was shortlisted for the Thinkers50 Radar Award, which recognises emerging management thinkers with the potential to shape the future of leadership and organisations.

Maja is an award-winning teacher. In 2017, she was named one of the Top 40 Undergraduate Professors by Poets and Quants. In 2019, she received a Warwick Award for Teaching Excellence, recognising her contribution to teaching across the university.

She has delivered talks and executive education programmes on topics such as leading change, persuasion and influence, and responsible leadership. Her work has supported a wide range of organisations, including Travelex, Emirates, the LEGO Group, and Forvis Mazars.

A frequent commentator on issues at the intersection of business and society, she regularly shares insights and perspectives through her work and on LinkedIn.
